BBNaija Prince Enwerem climbed the steps of the stage with the other 19 housemates the day he was unveiled, wearing a broad smile with a promise to entertain viewers. Before his one month stay in the house, he became one who would be known for his love for durags, his excellent acting skills, his amazing dancing steps, and his eloquence. Prince is a complete showman and here is everything you need to know about him.

Prince BBNaija: Age and background

Prince Nelson Enwerem was born in 1996. He celebrated his 25th year birthday in the Big Brother Naija house on August 2. Prince is from Ugiri Isiala Mbano Local government in Imo State. There are publications that put his State of origin to be Abia State. It is untrue. Prince’s father is a king. His name is Leomike Enwerem and he is the Eze Ebii I of Ebie Land in Imo state. Many blogs who mistake his state of origin do so because the reality star was born and raised in Aba Abia State.

Prince attended Federal Government College Umuahia and after his graduation, he proceeded to the University of Calabar where he studied Pure Physics. Prince is an interior decorator, a fashion designer, and a model.

Life Before Entering The Big Brother House

Prince continued with modeling after his graduation having won the face of University Nigeria 2016. He was also the winner of Mr Nigeria 2018 which gave him so much confidence that he is on the right career path. He represented Nigeria in Mr World in 2019 where he made it to the semi-finals. He however believed he was supposed to go farther than that as he accused the organizers of some irregularities. “I just want to say a very big thank you to everyone who supported my journey. God bless everyone, I tried my best to represent our country which I’m very sure I did extremely well. Unfortunately, I didn’t win but everyone who watched the show or was at the event and everyone who competed with us is very aware that the results ain’t fair.” Jack Heslewood of England was announced the overall winner of that competition.

Prince continued to follow his modeling career after his first international outing until he passed the video auditions of the season five Big brother Naija Reality show.

Prince BBNaija: Time In The house

Prince is not a stranger to flashy lights and the stage, thanks to his Mr. Nigeria outing. However, the Big Brother show is a reality series that never takes the camera out of your face all day long. On entering the house, he disclosed to show host Ebuka and the viewers that he has royal blood flowing in him, he disclosed that he to the house to have fun, maybe give a relationship a chance if love comes knocking. However, it was not love that came knocking on his door at first it was trouble, a small altercation between him and Ozo who was the head of the house during that week.

During the rehearsal for their Thursday wager task, Prince played a major cast in the play they were about to present, however, he left the rehearsal without informing anyone and Ozo lost his cool, before querying him. He further asked Prince to apologize to the whole team for the disrespect and Prince obliged. At this point, viewers became interested in him coupled with the listening ears he offered to Lucy.

As days progressed, Prince started developing feelings for Nengi, however, he couldn’t get past the protective walls of Nengi. Then came Tolanibaj, it is not yet clear who made the first move between the two. But Prince struggled to show Tolanibaj affection in the house. There was another lady in the mix; Wathoni but Tolanibaj gave no chance. Prince has shown many sides of him in the house, as a fine dancer, a great actor, and a fashion aficionado. He has also demonstrated strong leadership skills.

Eviction

Prince was evicted from the Big Brothers House three weeks to the end of the show. His chances of making it to the top five was dealt a big blow when he was nominated for eviction alongside Kiddwaya, Dorathy, and Ozo. Prince received the lowest votes from viewers and that brought an end to his journey in the house. Speaking with Ebuka after his eviction, “I knew I would be evicted because the nomination was a tight one” he told show host. Prince wants to go into acting as well as looking out for other ventures which include being a show host amid other things.
