A national treasure in her native Australia, Rebecca Breeds burst onto the acting scene with force at a very young age. Rebecca Breeds: Age and background
Rebecca Breeds was born on June 17, 1987, in Sydney Australia. Her father worked in the furniture industry, and his mother worked in a government school. She has two brothers, Matthew Breeds and Benjamin Breeds. At a tender age, her parents divorced and she started living with her cousin.
Rebecca attended Sutherland Shire Christian School briefly. She was the drama captain at St Andrew’s Cathedral School and after her graduation, she moved to University of New South Wales where she combined a degree in music with performing arts but later ditched school to pursue an acting career.

Career
A switch in the show business proved to be the best for her as she made appearances in television commercials for KFC and McDonald’s in Australia. She appeared in an episode of Australian TV series “Water Rat” in an uncredited role. Rebecca would go on to star in the Australian television series “Blue Water High” as Cassie Cometti. The series is about a young group of students at Solar Blue, a high-performance surf academy where several lucky 16-year-olds are selected for a 12-month-long surfing program at Avalon Beach, Sydney. Her role opened up other acting opportunities for her.
An appearance in a feature film was next and she grabbed it diligently, playing her first lead role as Leah Pointin in the 2008 Australian film “Newcastle”. In 2008, she started playing the role of Ruby Buckton in the Australian soap opera “Home and Away”. This role was that breakout role she might have envisioned as it earned her two Logie Award nominations. She was also nominated in the Most Popular Actress Award category in 2010. In June 2012, she filmed her final scenes and left “Home and Away” after four years.
As she continued to play in the home front, she decided to showcase her acting talent away, in a Hollywood industry that sometimes swallows up young actors, however, her story was different as she joined the cast of Rob Greenberg’s “We Are Men” as Abby Russo. This role was her first US television role, however, the show was cancelled after poor ratings. She played the role of Aurora del Martel in “The Originals”.
She played the role of Miranda Coale in a legal soap about a group of lawyers who work and live together. The audition for the said role was highly competitive and she emerged as the best person meant for the role. However, it was never aired. Her acting talent landed her role in a Bollywood movie “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” as Stella.

She joined the cast of “Clarice” a CBS television series where she plays the character of Clarice Starling. She is still rather young and has the potentials of bringing so much to the entertainment world.
Rebecca Breeds: Marriage and Other Facts
On the set of “Home and Away”, Rebecca found love in the eyes of her co-star Luke Mitchell. Luke Mitchell is a model and actor who is known for appearing in “H20: Just Add Water”, Australian soap opera, “Neighbours”, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”, and many others, in his native Australia and the US where he has called home since 2013.
The call for matrimony was so strong from both parties and they announced their engagement in May 2012 before tying the knots in January 2013. Since she moved to the US soil, she gets homesick sometimes and can’t wait to return to Australia to start a family, she revealed this in an interview.
In 2011, she became the face of Australian activewear company Running Bare. She also performed with a band called Troy Cassar-Daly and the Skat Kats for a 2009 cancer fund-raiser.
