Australian Actors
Luke Mitchell the star of Home and Away

Luke Mitchell is a model and actor who is known for appearing in “H20: Just Add Water”, Australian soap opera, “Neighbours”, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”, and many others. How much do you know of this star do you know? Whatever you know about him, we intend to add a little water. Here is everything you need to know about him, the water inclusive.

Age and upbringing

Luke Mitchell was born in April 1985 in the Gold Coast, Australia. He was born in a family of five kids of which he is number three. He has one sister. Growing up, tennis was the major pastime in his life. Perhaps it was more than a pastime. His elder brother was a tennis coach and his younger brother went on to play tennis professionally, rising to the top twenty in his continent.

“Tennis is a big part of my life and I fairly enjoyed it,” Luke Mitchell said in an interview in 2014. “I just found myself working too hard and [there were] not enough results. Does that make sense? I just kind of stopped and wanted to see what else was out there which I think is a right decision.”

He went on to become a model and thence an actor. He has the height, being 6.1 inches 15.5cm for the former and a dashing look and the voice for the latter.

Career

After high school, Mitchell attended Film and Television Studio International in Melbourne where he trained to be an actor. Sudden Impact Entertainmemt company, a company from New York with international reach which had businesses in Australia. Luke Mitchell acted in live theaters.

His break came in 2008 when he auditioned for the guest role of Christ Knight in “Neighbours”. He played the role of a bad boy who was described by the executive producer of the show as someone who met a girl whom “tried to take advantage of her, and he was subsequently found dead”. This is a pointer but not the full story. This is tantamount to saying that Donald Trump was a con man who bankrupted a casino and become president to recoup his funds. Not really the truth, not really false.

Next, Mitchell was in “H2O: Just Add Water” an Australian show about three teenage girls who were no ordinary girls but mermaids. The show introduced Mitchell to a worldwide audience as the show was screened in 120 countries. Mitchell took part in all the 26 episodes of the third and final season.

Mitchell was on TV for “Home and Away” for four years between 2009 and 2014 and played the role of Romeo Smith a “cheeky, funny, and confident” character. He was on this show for a whopping 693 episodes.

Luke Mitchell moved to America in 2013 where his first show was The CW’s “The Tomorrow’s People”, a remake of the successful UK science fiction drama of the same name. The show was canceled after its first season of 22 episodes.

Luke’s stay in America wasn’t canceled and he continued to star in Hollywood.

He starred in Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” for two seasons, recurring in season two and part of the main cast in season three.

He was also in Blindspot, an American crime drama television series created by Martin Gero, starring Sullivan Stapleton which aired for 5 seasons in 100 episodes on NBC between 2015 and 2020.

More recently, Luke is part of the cast of “The Republic of Sarah”, a drama series that is expected to air in The CW in October 2001.

Mitchell’s relationship and net worth

In 2009, while playing Romeo Smith in “Home and Away” he met Rebecca Breeds who played the role of Ruby Buckton, a weak character who appeared to be strong and who was in a relationship with the character of Luke Mitchell. The two began to date in the same year and in 2012 they announced their engagement. They got married in 2013.

The couple is without children that we know of. We believe they are yet to start a family as Breeds once revealed that she sometimes gets homesick in America and that she couldn’t wait to get home and raise children.

According to Celebnetworths, Luke Mitchell is worth 2.5 million dollars.
