Her husband, Brodie was an American professional wrestler and actor who is well recognized by the ring name Luke Harper in WWE. However, his real name is Jonathan Hurber. He signed a ‘Developmental Contract’ with WWE on March 12, 2012.

On December 15, 2015, Synndy took to her Instagram page to celebrate their 9-year anniversary, writing: “I love you more then Ever, found the way to say Happy 9 years of burgers, milkshakes, and adventures.”

The marital bliss was cut short in 2020 after the husband died on December 26, 2020, at the age of 41.

Sadly, he suffered from serious complications related to the lungs and was admitted to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville where passed away while surrounded by his loved ones.

Synndy cleared the doubts by stating as a matter of fact that it was a non-COVID-related lung issue. On the popular ‘AEW Unrestricted’ podcast, she went ahead to reveal that the official cause of his death was ‘Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis’.

The passing away of the celebrity wrestler was followed by a tribute from his wife as she took to her Instagram page to share the heartbreaking and devastating news to her fans and followers, attaching several photos of her life with her husband while writing her tribute.

Furthermore, she appreciated his wrestling company – All Elite Wrestling, for being supportive of her and her kids through the process. The All Elite Wrestling shared a statement in that regard, offering their sincere condolences to the bereaved family.

Also, many popular wrestlers including Triple-H, Hulk Hogan, and others paid their tribute likewise. Following her husband’s death, her son Brodie was signed to ‘All Elite Wrestling’, and also he joined his father’s team ‘The Dark Order’.
