Judith Hoag portrayed the character of April O’Neil, a reporter for Channel 3 News in the martial arts superhero comedy film in 1990. The film storyline is based on the fictional superhero team of the same name and includes in the cast a certain Alan Ritchson. Also, it is an adaptation of the early Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, with several elements picked from the animated series. The film landed Judith other bigger roles in the future and rewarded her dogged pursuit to be a movie star with several recognitions.
