Gary Cole is the son of a school administrative assistant Robert Cole while her mother Lois Cole worked as director of finance. Gary was born in Park Ridge, Illinois but was raised in Rolling Meadows with her elder sister Nancy.

Gary attended Rolling Meadows High School, where he discovered his acting talent and was selected to play the character of Snoopy in the high school production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”. His acting brilliance made it easier for him to appear in other plays in school.

He appeared in 21 episodes of NBC political drama series “The West Wing” as Bob Russell. He played a voice role in the animated mystery comedy series “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated”. Gary was also in the television drama “Suits” as Cameron Dennis. Gary has appeared in many TV series and even video games. He acts like someone who doesn’t want to fade away.

Gary Cole was married to actress Teddi Siddall. Teddi appeared on many episodes in “Grey’s Anatomy”. They wedded on March 8, 1992. Together they welcomed a daughter named Marry who diagnosed with Autism when she was just two years of age. During the period while she was undergoing some medications, Gary became involved with Canine Companions for Independence, a nonprofit group that trains assistance dogs for individuals with disabilities.
