When Robert started to work for Super World of Sports, he earned the name Giant Goliath and by the time he started working for the Japanese W*ING promotion he was christened Goliath El Gigante. In 1997, he joined the WWF alongside Donald Don Callis who is professionally known as “The Jackyl”. He made his acting debut in 2006 film “300” as the Über-Immortal, a savage berserker who was part of the enemy’s imperial guard. The film is an adaptation of Frank Miller’s graphic novel of the same name. The film was a commercial success and he was praised for his role.
In 2008, he starred as dredger in “Sherlock Holmes”. During a fight scene in the movie, he accidentally punched Robert Downey Jr. in the face.
