Ted Follows is was a theatre man and director. He is most recognized for his role of Macduff in Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” on stage and also on TV. The marriage between Dawn and Follows ended in divorce in 1978. By now, the couple already produced four kids. Two or three singular episodic appearances followed before being part of “Matt and Jenny” the Canadian drama on Global Network for 26 episodes.

Her most prominent act on TV and elsewhere was in 1985 in “Anne of Green Gables” film miniseries on CBC. The films are based on the novel of the same name by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery and had four installments in all including “Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel”, “Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story”, and “Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning”.  Megan played the lead role of Anne Shirley then a 13-year-old orphan living in servitude with the cruel Hammond family in Nova Scotia who was adopted into a new home.
