Cress Williams is the star you probably knows as the badass guy who was asked to hunt down Michael Scoffied and co by the General of the Company in “Prison Break Season 4”. Or you know him as the Terrence “Scooter” Williams from the TV show “Living Single”. Or as the lead hero of the recent ongoing TV series “Black Lightning”. You can’t just not know Williams. His rugged features and forceful nature give life to his characters and vigor to his roles. Here are things to know about the star outside of the screen.

It is on television, however, that Cress has crested his name in the industry. Some of his most notable TV appearances include “ER”, the American medical thriller that aired on NBC between 1994 and 2009. Williams played the role of Officer Reggie Moore and appeared in ten episodes between 1998 and 2008. Still don’t understand how big ER was? It won 116 awards.

Williams acted in “Close to Home” the crime TV series that aired between 2006 and 2007 in CBS, he was in “Grey’s Anatomy” where he played the role of Tucker Jones in seven episodes. And, of course, he was in “Prison Break” where he featured in nine thrilling episodes of trying to bring down The Fox Rivers gang. Could have been easier for him to try to uproot the Burj off the face of the earth.

Then “Black Lightning”. “Black Lightning” is a superhero television series created by Samil Akil and playing on the CW. It is based on the superhero comic book of the same name by Tony Isabella (writer) and Trevor Von Eeden (artist). The first season ran from January to April 2018, the second season between October 2018 and March 2019. The third episode is billed to air in October 2019.

Cress Williams’ net worth

Cress  Williams charges 175 thousand dollars per TV episode. The bulk of his acting credits come in the television, give and take a few tens of thousands of dollars for movies. He is estimated to be worth one million dollars. This is according to BioWikis.

There is nothing on the internet to confirm that Cress Williams has siblings. He has refused to speak about his siblings or the lack of them. Cress was born on July 26, 1970. And according to Pew Social Trends, by the end of the 1970s Cress birth decade, 75% of African American mothers, irrespective of their marital status, have at least three children. The law of probabilities favors that Williams has siblings.

The laws secrecy and privacy, however, favors that Cress has the right to keep the public informed or uninformed about his family members. Williams was born in West Germany by parents he has kept out of the media as well. He was born in the university town of Heidelberg. We suspect one of his parents was a lecturer there. The best guess would be to say one of his parents was in the military but there is no military base in the whole of the Southwest Baden-Württemberg.
