A List Of All The Movies Impacted By Coronavirus

Coronavirus movies

The world is coming to an end. Sports events are canceled or suspended, casinos are shut, restaurants, bars, and parks are closed, the roads are deserted, schools have moved online, churches are empty, holy grounds and monasteries are closed from worshippers, cable networks are running amok and there are no late-night comedians to lampoon the situations. The stock markets are bleeding profusely, New York Governor Cuomo is on CNN 24/7 for free, and Trump is acting presidential. It is the era of Coronavirus which is the botanical term for the last days predicted in the good book. The movie industry is not left out of the madness inflicted by the novel virus as cinemas are getting shut and movies billed for the big screen are getting kicked farther into the future, into 2021, even, for some; and some do not have a confirmed date of premiering yet.

Here is a compilation of the list of coronavirus movies, i.e movies impacted by the virus so far (and no, the term coronavirus movies shouldn’t be taken to be derogatory). Something tells me this list will be updated every now and then. Note that we used the dates in which these shows would hit the cinemas in the United States which in some cases differ from the date elsewhere – for instance, “The Personal History of David Copperfield” has already aired in the UK. Wherever you live on the planet, these US dates should give you more than an idea.
