David Cade is an actor, producer, and writer. He is popularly known for featuring on the Nickelodeon series “Big Time Rush” as Jett Stetson in 2013. He has not looked back since.

David Cade was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has a younger sister with whom he was raised by his mother and stepfather.

Coming from a broken home took a toll on David, he developed a wild streak at a young age and was often caught in trouble. This caused him to change schools a lot of times.
David Cade’s rugged nature drove him into football but his friend suggested wrestling as a more befitting sport for his kind of personality. He was probably too rough on the pitch. Soon David became one of the feared athletes in the wrestling ring of Minnesota. David almost defeated Joe Slaughter, a Minnesota three times state champion. His one chance to go to the state level.

When David Cade went to Thailand to visit his Father, he joined Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) and kickboxing. He also trained with his MMA Friends. Eventually, David quit wrestling and went back to college.
David Cade’s acting career
When David Cade was very young, his parents couldn’t afford childcare. During the weekend David and his sister would follow his stepfather to the office, where they’ll wait for at least 10 hours in the company’s conference room watching films he bought. It was through watching these movies David fell in love with acting.
David had low grades graduating high school but he received multiple scholarships to attend college for acting. He studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Luckily a local theater director recognized David’s innate charisma and humor and urged him to audition for the Main Stage production of “Footloose”.
Although David Cade made his debut as a waiter in Gus Van Sant’s “Milk” (2008), his role as Jimmy in “Lament to Roswell” (2009) is considered his official first feature.
David has over 30 credits to his name.
