Susan Olsen is the daughter of Lawrence and DeLoice Olsen. She was born on 14th August 1961 in Santa Monica, California, the U.S. She has three siblings namely; Christopher, Diane, and Larry. Her brother Christopher starred in the film “The Man Who Knew Too Much” as a child actor.
At fourteen months old, Susan was carried into a TV commercial and it marked the beginning of everything colorful in her life. She attended Taft Charter High School and after her graduation, she proceeded to Pierce College, Woodland Hills, California. In order to become better in the career path she has decided for herself, she enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She also went to Hollywood Professional School. She is 58 years old.

Susan Olsen made his film debut in 1969 when she speared as a singer in the film “The Trouble with Girls”. The film starred legendary singer and actor Elvis Presley. But her acting journey started a year earlier in the NBC crime drama series “Ironside” where she played the character of Tracy Richards.
Susan Olsen played the role of Pamela in the television sitcom “Julia”. The show starred actress and singer Diahann Carroll, and ran for 86 episodes on NBC. Some of the roles she played at the beginning of her career were minor roles except for the one she appeared alongside Elvis Presley as a singer.

Susan landed her breakout role as Cindy Brady on the ABC sitcom “The Brady Bunch”. The series tells the story of a large blended family with six children who faced gender rivalries and deep resentments. Susan Olsen spent years playing the character of Cindy Brady. The show ran from 1969-1974. And guess what? The actress recently opened up to Fox News that she hated her role in the series. “I never thought I would say this because when I was younger I was very rebellious and I really hated the fact that I was in such a wholesome show with American values and family values,” Olsen said Susan. However, she admitted that the series helped her to grow as an actress. The series created spin-offs like “The Brady Kids,” “The Brady Bunch Hours” and “The Brady Brides”. In fact, the ‘70s were a ‘Brady’ year.
Appearing in single films wasn’t her thing as she has only appeared in four since she launched her career. In 1999, she played the role of Cindy Russell in the crime drama series “Pacific Blue”. Susan took a hiatus from acting and went into hiding.
