Kirby began her acting career in 2004 when she featured in two episodes of “Unfabulous” the teen drama on Nickelodeon. She went on to appear in a couple of TV series. No big roles, just an episode here and there including two episodes each in “Hannah Montana” and “The Inbetweeners”. In 2012, Kirby played a part in “Project X” the dark teen comedy film about a party that was meant for a few friends but overflowed into a multitude. Kirby played Kirby the friend and crusher of the main character Thomas played by Thomas Mann. A certain Alexis Knapp was a part of the movie.
In 2013, Kirby was in “The Green Inferno”. It was a popular horror film which was directed by horror headmaster Eli Roth. While the film was a hit among horror films, critics were nearly united in condemning it. The show made 12.9 million in the box office off a budget of 5 which should be a successful return.

“We went all over Peru and did some stuff in Chile,” Kirby Blanton told SharpMagazine in an interview. The bulk of what we did was in this tiny little village that Eli found when he was scouting. It’s in the furthest part of the jungle. It took an hour’s drive and an hour’s boat ride to get there. We’d have to pack extra clothing because there’s no electricity and the river is the only way out. Once it got dark, it was time to go, but if the river was flooded, we couldn’t leave. We always had to prepare to stay overnight.”
