Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is a British actress born on April 15, 1990, in Paris to legal practitioners Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson. She has a brother named Alex who was also born in Paris. After her parents divorced when she was 5, she moved back to Oxfordshire in England with her mother and brother.
In England, she was first enrolled at the Dragon School before receiving training at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part-time theatre school where she studied singing, dancing, and acting.
