Simon Jacques Biography:
Even though not much of his biography is available, where are the ones we were able to gather. Simon Jacques was born in Montreal, Canada. Montréal is the largest city in Canada’s Québec province and It’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River. The city is known to be the home to the famous Cirque de Soleil (“Circus of the Sun” or “Sun Circus”) an entertainment company and the largest contemporary circus producer in the world.
One will ask how old was Simon Jacques before his painful exit from this world, well that has been confidential information kept away from his fans or blogs. From his appearance, one can suggest that Simon was around his early thirties before he passed away.
Due to his love of production of visual work, he studied in post-production at ATM (Art et Technologie des Médias) of Cégep de Jonquière. Simon was one of the most talented students during his days in school. After graduation, he worked in various studios inside Montreal and lived there for a few more years. From there he went to contribute to a number of projects.

Simon Jacques was credited for his work in creating the visual effects of “Versailles” a French historical fiction drama Canal+ original television series, the series was set during the construction of the Palace of Versailles during the reign of Louis XIV, that premiered in 2015. The series runs for three seasons which includes thirty episodes.

In 2016, Jacques was behind the visual effects of the video game franchise film “Assassin’s Creed” a science fiction action film. Also that same year he created the visual effects of “X-Men: Apocalypse” film which was based on the fictional X-Men characters and was the ninth installment in the X-Men film series. Simon Jacques also create the visual effects for the first installment of the Star Wars anthology series back in 2016.
In 2017, Simon create the visual effect of “Ghost in the Shell” a science fiction action film which was directed by Rupert Sanders. He was also credited for creating the effect of the film “The Shack” a Christian drama film directed by Stuart Hazeldine and stars Sam Worthington and Octavia Spencer. Simon was also behind the effects of Allied a war thriller film back in 2016, Fallen (2016), “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” (2016), “Race” (2016), “Blue Moon” (2016), and “Outcast” (2014).
Although he wasn’t credited for the visual effects of “Shadow Hunters” he tipped in some effects for the series.
