1. Rachel Boston grew up in the mountain
Rachel Boston was raised in Signal Mountain Tennessee, a suburb of Chattanooga where she was born. Her father’s name is Terry Boston, an engineer while her mother Brenda Boston worked as a teacher. Rachel is not an only child but an only daughter of her parents. She has male siblings namely Andrew Boston and Brian Boston.
Rachel picked up interest in the entertainment industry at a very young age. Growing up in the mountain meant so much to her as she flirted with adventure, spending most of her childhood camping, embarking on road trips, and hiking. When Rachel’s mother took a trip to New York City and returned with playbills and information about New York University and Julliard, something was triggered in the young Rachel. Later, she traveled with her mother to New York City in her 6th grade so they could both compete in a talent competition. She finished third in the singing category while her mother finished first in soap-opera acting.
Every step she took was pointing towards the entertainment industry even though she attended schools that laid more emphasis on academic success. In 1999, she represented the State of Tennessee in Miss Tennessee Teen Pageant show and won. It is safe to say that her kernels were cracked by a benevolent spirit.
3. Rachel Boston played a regular role in the American Dream
Rachel Boston has made heavy appearance all her life in films and television series that are blockbusters. She started her career on MTV sketch comedy series “The Andy Dick Show” where she played the role of Tina. A year after, she made her film debut in the film “Smoking Herb” as Jaquelyn Mason.
It did not take long for the former Miss Tennessee teen star to land her breakout role. From 2002-2005, she played a regular role on NBC television drama series “American Dreams”. The series did considerably well until its third season when its rating dropped to 33 percent after faced completion with “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” which aired on ABC. Fans of American Dreams organized a The Fans started campaign to save the series, sending over 5000 supportive e-mails to NBC after the season finale and several thousand postcards to the network as well. Rachel Boston appeared in other television series such as “Peep Show,” “The Closer,” and “Happy Hour”. She also appeared on an episode of ABC medical drama series “Grey’s Anatomy”.
Rachel Boston also starred in 12 episodes of CBS comedy-drama series “The Ex List”. The show received poor approval ratings and reviews and only lasted less than a month. She appeared on 23 episodes of the television series “Witches of East End” as Ingrid Beauchamp. The series is based on the book of the same name by Melissa de la Cru. It was aired on Lifetime but was canceled in its second season following a decline in ratings.

Rachel Boston is not married. She used to be in a relationship with Brad Hargreaves, The Third Eye Band‘s drummer, back in 2004.
