Ruby Stokes is an English actress, theatrical performer, and dancer. She started her career back in 2010 from a television series “Just William” where she played the short role of a grumpy girl. She got the role in the mainstream drama on her first attempt which she still considers as one of her biggest achievements.
Here are a handful of things we know about her.
Ruby Stokes is two decades old
Ruby Stokes was born in Southbank, London, England. She was raised by her parents alongside her three younger sisters.
At just 22 months old, baby Ruby started taking ballet classes. She took part in school shows when she was five, and started singing lessons at age six. After just three shows at age 10, she wanted to carry on so her parents signed her up with a local agent.
Ruby Stokes was born on the 4th of September 2000. She is 21 years and 5 months old.
Ruby Stokes performed in front of Royalty
In 2017, Ruby Stokes was cast as the lead character in the West End production of “Annie”. Annie is a Broadway musical based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip “Little Orphan Annie” and the 1885 poem “Little Orphant Annie” by James Whitcomb Riley.
The role provided her the chance to perform in front of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at The Royal Variety Show. Ruby was privileged to meet Prince William and Kate. She said Prince William shook her hand and congratulated her for her exceptional performance.
The following year, Ruby transferred with the musical to Toronto to reprise her role as Annie. It was a wonderful experience for Ruby but they weren’t a fan of the British accent.
Stokes’ acting Career
Before venturing into film, Ruby Stokes appeared in many theaters and did a few concerts, such as the WhatsOnStage Awards and the Magic of Animation concert at Cadogan Hall.

Ruby Stokes sang a solo just before Carrie Hope Fletcher, an English actress, singer-songwriter, author, and internet personality.
After Ruby sang in the dress rehearsals, Carrie came up to her, said her voice was beautiful and gave her a high five. “I was on cloud nine for the rest of that day!” Ruby said in an interview with TresaMagazine.
Height and weight
As a child actor, Ruby Stokes received several rejections and disappointments, not because she wasn’t good for the role but because she wasn’t tall enough. Her height was restricting what musical theatre jobs she could get and that made her lose some good jobs.
The most recent update online stated that Ruby Stokes is 5 feet 4 inches tall (1.65m), according to one of her interviews, she’s taller than her mother.
The green-eyed blonde weighs 56kg (123.5 pounds).
