Zach Hadel is an American Animator, artist and voice actor, known for the famous flash animation series “Hellbenders” on youtube, a series he started with his best friend, Chris O’Neill in 2012. Before creating a Youtube account, Zach already made a name for himself on a platform called “Newgrounds” (an entertainment site where members share personally created content like games, music and flash animations) where he uploaded a total of fifteen videos between 2009 and 2010.

Yes, he has been around for a very long time.

Zach’s work is well known for his strange animation characters and his dark sense of humor. By dark, we mean pitch dark like the night sky without celestial bodies.

Zach is also a writer, storyboard artist, director, and producer. These roles naturally come as a package deal when you are an independent Animator.

In 2017 Zach started his podcast show “Schmucks”, where he invites famous YouTubers and friends and asks them questions. The following year he added another show he calls “The very Positive Stream”.

Zack’s social platforms have successfully presented his skills to the world and he is now one of those Animators that is outrightly sourced for in the industry today. He has worked on different projects and partnered with several people in the industry.

In 2018, he partnered with Justice Roiland to co-write, direct and animated a short animation “Charity Brothers” for Seth Rogen’s “Hilarity for Charity” which aired on Netflix. He did a storyboard segment for the episode called “The grill is gone” and the voice of an unnamed lady in “Spot Return” in Nickelodeon’s “Sponge Bob Square Pants”.

Zack stated on his Twitter post that it was a freelance job, which means he doesn’t work with or for Nickelodeon.

I’m pretty sure being a professional Animator doesn’t require height but it is necessary to reach the kitchen cabinet without breaking a leg trying to climb something.
