In 2009, Steven was in “City Island” a comedy film about a prison guard who has a family where everyone has one secret or the other. His own secret son turned up in his prison as an inmate. Steven Strait played the son/prisoner while Andy Garcia played the guard/father.

While he was more of a film actor, his debut way back in 2001 was on TV in an episode of the crime drama on NBC called “Third Watch”. Between 2012 and 2013, he was on Starz Network “Magic City”. He played the role of Steven “Stevie” Evans in the 16 episodes that made up the two seasons that made up the entire show. In 2014, he appeared in one episode of ABC’s “Revenge”.
