Seth Green was born Seth Benjamin Gesshel-Green on February 8, 1974, in Overbrook Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Barbara (Gesshel) and Herbert Green. His mother Barbra is an artist while his father Herbet is a teacher. Seth has one sister named Kaela. He is of Russian, Polish, and Scottish descent. Seth is not related to director Bruce Seth Green.

The actor has an uncle who played a huge part in his acting growth as a casting director as he started using young Seth in commercials at the age of seven. There are several reports that say the actor graduated from high school with honors.

Seth Green made his acting debut in the film “Billions for Boris” in 1984, prior to this debut, he has already won hearts by appearing in so many TV commercials at a tender age. These commercials unlocked acting doors for him and by the time he turned 10 years old, his career as a child actor became something to be envied amongst his peers.

He starred as Joe in “Radio Days” and as he grew in acting, he unlocked the comedy side of his talent and started appearing in sitcoms as a guest. Seth quickly updated his acting credits by voicing so many characters in television series and films. The year 1997 proved to be one big year for Seth as he portrayed the character of Daniel “Oz” Osbourne in the television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. The series ran for seven seasons till 2003.

Seth Green voiced the characters of Chris Griffin, Neil Goldman and others in the animated sitcom “Family Guy” that centers on a nonadaptive family called the Griffins. He focused primarily on voicing Chris Griffin, the teenage son, who is overweight, unintelligent and, in many respects, a younger version of his father, and Neil Goldman, a neighbor of the Griffins. Green did an impression of the Buffalo Bill character from the thriller film “The Silence of the Lambs” during his audition.

Between 1999 and 2001, he played a voice role in six episodes of “Batman Beyond”. The actor is a co-creator, co-producer, writer, director, and most frequent voice of the Emmy-winning stop-motion sketch comedy TV series “Robot Chicken” for which he does many voices and has appeared in animated form.

On July 13, World Wrestling Entertainment’s official website announced Green as the special guest host for the July 13 episode of WWE Raw, and on that night, Green competed in the main event, a six-man tag team match, which his team won by disqualification. He has appeared in various video games and has also won numerous awards.
