Oscar 2021: Full List Of Nominees

Oscar 2021 nominees

On Monday, 15 March 2021, the Academy Award released the list for the longest-awaited Oscar 2021 Award. Not even World War 2 or 9/11 interfered with the timing of the Academy Awards. But the coronavirus pandemic has shown that it wouldn’t leave without impacting, negatively, of course, every sphere of human civilization. Singer Nick Jonas and his wife, actress Priyanka Chopra, made the announcement which, like previous Oscars, was full of surprises:

Two women were nominated for Best Director for the first time ever. Chadwick Boseman got a posthumous nomination but not for “Da 5 Bloods“. Daniel Kuluuya got a nomination but not as Best Actor; he was nominated as Best Supporting Actor for playing Fred Hampton in “Judas and the Balck Messiah” (don’t scratch your head). Aaron Sorkin didn’t get a nod (or nom, whatever) for directing “The Trial of the Chicago 7”. “News of the World” was roundly ignored. Among many other shocks, shockers, and snubs. P.S: #OscarSoWhite didn’t trend (Maybe shouldn’t {have [if it did]}).

Here’s the full list of Oscar 2021 nominations. Choose your surprise yourself, wisely.
