Olivia Rodrigo is a teenage actress who began her career in 2015. She is known for her role as Paige Olvera in the comedy series Bizaardvark on Disney Network. This one is a rather short profile of the star. And it is not surprising to tell why; she is still a toddler (a star but still just beginning) in an industry that she is poised to own. Olivia Rodrigo was born Olivia Isabel Rodrigo on February 20, 2003. She was born in Temecula, California. She is an Asian American whose great grandfather came from the Philipines and, according to her, they still have Filipino food and have relations who still speak Tagalog today. She hasn’t been to her ancestral country but she admits this is somewhere at the top of her bucket list.

Ms. Rodrigo didn’t attend a normal high school like every kid out there. While for many teenage actors, their education is delayed, Olivia and co. just grabbed the school and carried it to the set. “We have a four-person high school that we make on set so it’s kind of funny,” she said which doesn’t make much sense to me but which I will pretend to understand.

One day, her teacher said to her: “Wow you’re really expressive with singing, maybe you should take an acting class.” And she took an acting class. After a few acting classes, the said the teacher said, “Do you want to do this professionally, try some auditions.” She was eleven years old.

She attended tons of auditions. At around 12, she got the role of Paige Olvera in Disney’s “Bizaardvark” in 2016. She went on to play the co-lead in the series that was on for three seasons and 63 episodes up to 2019. She was in the 2015 film “An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success” in which she played the title role of Grace Thomas the girl who baked her way to stardom.

In 2019, she joined the cast of “High School Musical: High School: The Series” the mockumentary series “a group of students at East High who stage a performance of High School Musical for their winter theater production, only to realize that there is as much drama that happens offstage as there is onstage” on disney+.

It wasn’t just acting for Olivia in the show for she debuted her song-writing skills. She wrote the song “All I Want”.

Tim Friedre the creator of the show was enthused in his praise of her: “Olivia wrote this emotional, in-depth song in just three days while filming the series and going to school. She has shown her strength not only as a composer and performer but also a young woman who brilliantly channeled what the Nini character is going through as she begins to take control of her own narrative.”

In October 2021, MTV Europe Music Award announced its list of nominations. Justin Bieber led with eight nominations. Olivia showed her rising mettle when she was nominated in five categories.

Olivia Rodrigo – Relationship

According to some fan page entry on Olivia and confirmed by a couple of loved-up pictures between the two on Google, she is in a relationship with the Youtuber and actor Ethan Wacker. He was born in 2002 and a year older than Olivia. The two met on the set of “Bizaardvark” in which he played the role of Bernie.

We do not know how true this relationship claim is, but then, whatever it was, it went the way of many teenagers’ relationships.

While we can’t confirm this, we can report with stronger authority that once dated her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series co-star Joshua Bassett. They have broken up and it was said that there was some drama in it.

In June 2021, E! reported that the red-hot singer is dating someone new, the producer Adam Faze. A source close to Rodrigo told the outlet that she brought Faze as her plus one to the “Space Jam 2” premiere and introduced him as her boyfriend.

The couple confirmed being an item when they were photographed kissing in July 2021.
