Neo BBNaija: Age, Background, Relationship with Vee And Time In The Big Brother House.

Naturally street smart, effervescent, and full of energy, BBnaija Neo didn’t have the easiest start to life – he grew up in poverty – his experiences with adversity made him a resilient and optimistic battler. When he walked straight into the doors of Big Brother, he started a new chapter in his life, and this is the summary of his life in 71 days.

Neo BBNaija: Age And Background

Emuobonuvie Neo Akpofure was born on 1st July 1994 in Delta State. Neo revealed that he was born in the backseat of a car as his mother couldn’t wait to arrive at the maternity ward. He was raised by a single mother who worked as a prison warden in the Nigerian Prison Service. Little is known about his father, however, there are unconfirmed reports that his father is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who has several wives. Neo has over 20 siblings some who are lawyers.  Neo completed his primary and secondary education in Delta State before moving to Lagos where he was making a living as an Uber driver before he auditioned for the Big Brother Naija Lockdown season edition.

Time In The House  & Relationship with Vee

Neo entered the Big Brother Naija house and christened himself “The Oracle”. He was determined to impress viewers especially being from a region in the country that has earned a reputation of going far in the show and even winning it. Neo made many masks to fall off during the first week in the Lockdown house as he championed the “truth or Dare” game which became a foundation where some of the housemates found love and made enemies.

Neo’s time in the house would be incomplete without mentioning fellow housemate Vee. They both have/had what one could call a seemingly strong relationship in the Big Brother lockdown House but not without its sheer of fights and a thousand breakups with food being a catalyst for some of these breakups.  At some point, many wondered if their showmance was a gameplan as Vee repeatedly made it known that Neo has not done the needful by officially asking her out. Neo on the other hand believes that what they feel for each other is strong. This sums up the type of couple they are, always playing the good and bad cop. However, there were other distractions in the house as there were other female housemates who found Neo attractive but Vee marked her territory exclusively. (We haven’t heard the last of this).  Neo won many house tasks but never won the Head of House games, he was so close to winning the IVM Caris of Innoson Vehicles but lost out to Ozo.

Eviction: Neo BBNaija

After Neo suffered his first eviction scare in the fourth week of the competition, his fans made intensified efforts to keep him out of the bottom log until the final week of the competition. You can recall that Neo and Vee had played a smart one on the housemates by making sure that none of them was picked for possible eviction during the last nomination process, which helped them scale through the dreadful Sunday night eviction and secured their space in the grand finale of the show. The reality Tv stars could be said to have kept their fans glued to their screens as they dished out beautiful romantic contents for the viewers, ranging from their pillow fights to their exchange of romantic poems and to hitting their task with maximum concentration. With the grand prize clinched by Laycon, what does the future hold for them?

Speaking with show host Ebuka during the finale, Neo reveals that he wants to go into everything entertainment, adding that he is not shy of the hustle. Asked about Vee? He made it clear that he is still open to continuing the relationship outside the house. However, Vee did not speak with a certainty of someone who wants to continue dating Neo now they are outside of the house. This has generated harsh comments with many stating that Vee used the Warri boy to survive the show, including making him wash his panties while they were in the house.
