Michaela Conlin was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania to a Chinese-American mother Denise Colin who worked as an accountant. Her father, Franc Colin an Irish American worked as a contractor. She has an elder sister with whom she grew up with.
Michaela Conlin opened her talent box at the tender of seven, appearing in many stage plays in her native home of Pennsylvania. The discovery of her talent made it easier for her to decide which path to follow in life. She went to Parkland High School where she appeared in two school play productions “Bye Bye Birdie” and “The Crucible”. She later gained admission into New York University Tisch School of the Arts where she was opportune to work with “The Atlantic Theater Company” and many other theater productions.
While at NYU Tisch School, she embarked on a trip to Amsterdam to study with the Experimental Theater Wing in the International Training Program. Michaela obtained her bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a major in theater from NYU Tisch School. She is 41 years old. (Born on June 9, 1978).
2. She played the role of Angela Montenegro in “Bones”
Michaela Conlin played the role Angela Montenegro, a specialist in forensic facial reconstruction at the fictional Jeffersonian Institution in the Fox crime procedural comedy-drama “Bones”. She used her skill as an artist to develop, maintain, and improve the lab’s three-dimensional graphics and computer simulation systems for the police.
However, her career in acting started immediately she graduated from the University appearing in the documentary series “The It Factor” which centered on the lives of young actors in New York City. Soon, Michaela Colin made that necessary career advancement trip to Los Angeles to get me roles.
She soon landed the role of Dr. Maggie Yang on ABC television medical drama series “MDs”. She appeared in the film “Enchanted” as May. Michaela portrayed the role of Claire in an episode of the comedy-drama series “Casual”.
Michaela Conlin also played the role of Detective Heidi Sobel in “The Lincoln Lawyer”, a drama film that aired in 2011. She was the executive producer of the 2012 romantic comedy flick “Sparrows Dance”. The film focused around an agoraphobic woman. Currently, Michaela Conlin is playing the role of Sarah Nguyen in the drama television series “Yellowstone”.
3. Michaela Conlin has a son
The actress gave birth to a son named Charlie on February 3, 2019. However, she has not revealed the father of the boy. Michaela used to be in a relationship with Bones’ co-star TJ Thyne. In fact, it was more than a relationship as they were engaged to be married. Three years into their engagement they called it off. They did not reveal the reason why they ended their engagement but their breakup wasn’t a toxic one as they wished each other well in their Twitter accounts. However, fans are still in shock that the relationship ended.
Michaela Conlin also flirted with Iceland soccer player Arnar Gunnlaugsson. Arnar’s sister-in-law, entrepreneur and Playboy model Ásdís Rán Gunnarsdóttir, played the role of a matchmaker in their lives. The actress spent the 2012 New Year with the soccer player in Iceland and they have been spotted together quite a number of times until they went their separate ways. Currently, no one knows who the actress is dating.
