Splash

This 1984 fantasy comedy which lasted a duration of 1 hour 51 minutes was once again directed by Ron Howard. Louisa portrayed the role of a girl at the wedding.

Did you stop for once and wonder why of all genres, this movie is a Fantasy Comedy? Well, that’s because there was a mermaid! The storyline was more fairytale-like as it involved a bachelor who hopelessly fell in love with a kind-hearted mermaid who rescued him from drowning.

Following the kind work she did 25 ago, the mermaid came visiting, all the way from her “underwater habitat” to New York City. Like the government always do — in movies especially — they capture her for some experiment and research in one of their labs.

The head over heels in love bachelor plans and attempts a daring rescue to prove his love. The lead roles were Tom Hanks, Darryl Hannah, Eugene Levy, and John Candy.

It was nominated for the 1985 Golden Globe – Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. It was also nominated for the 1985 Writers Guild Award – Original Screenplay. And also was nominated for Oscar – Best Writing (Original Screenplay).

The Paper

In this particular movie, Louisa Marie played the role of a Sentinel receptionist. The 1998 movie was about an investigative journalist who does his work as a newspaper editor with passion. However, a big-profile murder case piqued his interest in an uncanny way and he dives right in to dig up information and uncover the truth with the resources at his disposal.

While at this, the entire staff had to handle their personal issues and challenges. It was once again directed by what I feel must have been a household name then — Ron Howard.

The movie starred Michael Keaton, Glenn Close, Marissa Tomie, Randy Quaid, and Robert Duvall and was nominated for the Best Achievement in Music (Original Story) Award Oscar.

What Kind of Actress is she?

Judging from the roles portrayed by Louisa Marie, it is no doubt that she’s a kind of actress whose career are made up of small roles here and there.

She portrays characters who do nothing but fade into the background and end up popping up as part of the cast. Her roles may be small, but they somehow contributed to the success of every movie she appeared in, including the award wins and nominations.

However, it is observed that all her movies were under the direction of Ron Howard, this could mean something or not, we are not aware, and we won’t guess.  Furthermore, there is no information concerning her exact date of birth, background, education, or family.

All these and many other details are unmentioned.
