John Noble

If you are talented, if you know your onions, it doesn’t matter if you have a noble name or just John Noble, it doesn’t matter if you are part of the main cast, a guest star or just in Fringe, if you are a star, you are a star. You may even be in your seventies but thousands will gather at the foot of your post every time the opportunity knocks to read about the facts about you. Let’s do this.

John Noble was born in the Port

John Noble was born in Port Pirie, a small natural resourceful city in South Australia, near Adelaide, with a population of fewer than 15 thousand people. He was born in August 1948. He was born to Mark Moriarty and Rose Noble. There is little information as regards his early life and siblings. Considering that Noble made the entry into the hall of celebrities in his middle age, this information has become farfetched. This situation is enabled by the fact that John is one to keep his personal life wrapped in a cloak of conscious silence and secrecy.

But we know about his education. John studied mathematics at the University of Cambridge.

He made his screen debut at the age of forty

John Noble made his screen debut at the age when most actors are reaching, reached or have passed their peak, at an age when a good number of actors have called it quits, at an age when many wouldn’t have bet on him having an awesome career. But many place bets but few are right. John Noble held his own on screen, attracted positive reviews and accolades, gained followers, and is approaching legendary status.

Mr. Noble started in the stage genre of the industry and for more than a decade, up to the late 1980s, he was the Artistic Director of Stage Company of South Australia. In this capacity, he is said to have directed more than 80 stage plays. Having conquered the stage, he went on to the big screen.

Noble’s strongest screen genre is the TV and he made his debut in 1991 as a sergeant in one episode of the Australian TV series “Police Rescue”. By this time he has already been in a few films. He made small appearances on both TV and films until 1998 when he played an extensive role in “All Saints” the Australian medical thriller on Seven Network. He featured in 32 episodes up to 2004.

More on his career

By the time he finished the “All Saints” series, Mr. Noble had already made that appearance in the “Lord of the Ring” film series that fetched him nominations, awards, and stamped his name firmly on the hall of the big leagues.

Then he played what is arguably his best show on the screen. Between 2008 and 2013, he played the dual roles of Walter Bishop a mad scientist who was institutionalized and a powerful secretary of defense in “Fringe” on Fox. Noble was one of the few cast members to feature in all of the 100 episodes of the five seasons. At its peak, this show was watched by over ten million viewers.

John Noble was a crooked consul

In 2007, John Noble played the role of Anatoly Markov, the Russian Consul in the sixth season of Fox’s “24”. In this drama, he was in cohort with Russian terrorists who were trying to nuke the United States. Jack Bauer got wind of his involvement and after he wouldn’t help CTU with info, Jack Bauer tortured him, cutting off his finger right in the Russian consulate. This started a small war in the consulate after Markov defiled his president’s order to hand Bauer over to the Americans.

His acting, accent, and carriage of the role were topnotch and this is not a political statement.

After these, she decided to follow her father’s footsteps and became an actor.

The Noble family lives in the US

After so much success as an actor in Hollywood, John Noble now lives in the United States. He lives with his wife Penny Noble of many years. We do not know exactly when they got married but judging from the time their first child Samantha was born (in 1984), the couple might have gotten married in the early 1980s or even late 1970s. That is nearly four decades of marriage between John and Penny.

John Noble has a rather fine net worth

Noble is around six feet or 1.84 meters tall. That is a good height and he is worth 3 million dollars which is good but when put side by side his great performances on the screen, it seems he should be making more. But Hollywood reward system is not usually commensurate with the talent on display. We have seen less impressive actors with eight-figures to their names.

Hollywood.
