Elizabeth Reaser is the daughter of John Reaser, an attorney, and a restaurant owner. Her mother’s name Karen Davidson. Elizabeth was born on June 15, 1975, in Bloomfield, Michigan and was raised alongside her two sisters Emily Reaser and Mary Reaser.

Elizabeth attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills and Avondale High School in Auburn Hills. Elizabeth relocated with her family to a rural area when her father’s business crumbled and they couldn’t keep up with the life they were used to. Finishing high school was a miracle as her parents grappled with fees. Elizabeth later gained admission at Oakland University but dropped out after one year. While she was still trying to gather her life and what to do to a childhood dream that is at the point of becoming a nightmare, her parents divorced and her mother married Billionaire businessman William Davidson.

Her parents’ divorce was a crushing blow but then she was an adult who determined to look at the positive side of things. Elizabeth started doing odd jobs to survive and even worked as a caddy at a country club. 3. Her career began in a sports theater

Elizabeth Reaser made her acting debut in the television series “Sports Theater with Shaquille O’Neal” where she played the role of Molly. She only appeared in one episode of the series and two years after, she appeared in the crime drama television series “The Sopranos” as Stacey. Elizabeth portrayed the role of Serena Whitfield in the police procedural drama television series “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”.

Her baby steps in the acting industry disappeared as she landed more roles where she was able to showcase her talent. In 2006, her breakout role came when she landed a main role on the TNT medical television drama series “Saved”. She played the character of Alice Alden, M.D. in 13 episodes of the series. In order to play this role to the satisfaction of the producers, Elizabeth had to visit real hospital emergency rooms to study how the doctors and patients behave.

Elizabeth landed another role in another medical television drama series “Grey’s Anatomy” on ABC. The series tells the stories of medical interns, patients, and residents. It first premiered on March 27, 2005, and has proved to be career sharpening series for any actor who starred in it.
