The night Dorathy Bachor became a contender for the grand prize of 85 million in the season 5 of Big Brother Naija Lockdown, she made headlines with the full headlights on her chest. Here is a full take on her journey in the house so far.

Dorathy Bachor: Age and background

Dorathy Lynda Bachor is an entrepreneur born on  November 4, 1996. She is 24 years old.  Dorathy is from Delta State but was raised in Lagos state where she attended the Lagos State Model college Igbokuta. Dorathy witnessed one of life’s biggest uncertainty when she lost her father at the age of 14, thus she struggled through high school, and with determination to succeed she obtained a degree in Accounting from the University of Joseph Ayo Babalola, in the year 2016.

After her graduation, she worked as an administrative assistant at Vane Style Fashion. She resigned from the job and at Vane but pick up the same role at Rivers State House of Assembly. Dorathy also worked for Polo Ralph Lounge, a big clothing store in Ikeja, Lagos as a sales representative before starting up her own company.

She is the founder and CEO of shopforme, an online store that deals with the distribution of feminine outfits. A business she was running with her “Full Chest” before she became a housemate in the season 5 of the Big Brother Naija Lockdown.

Time in the Big Brother House

Dorathy Lynda Bachor ventured into the Big Brother House leaving thousands of Nigerians in awe of her appearance and personality. That evening on stage when the cameras keep coming closer to her large twin towers, many Nigerians quickly came to a conclusion that her boobs might be her biggest asset or her gateway to the grand prize but as the show went on, Dorathy showed viewers another side of her life that is beyond the gifts on her chest. While many condemned her dress sense in the house she gained some loyal fans popularly known as DEXPLORASS.

The 24-year-old sassy entrepreneur from Lagos had consistently brought smiles and laughter to the viewers and housemates respectively with her jovial and funny nature. As masks continue to fall off in the house, she found herself dangling in a love triangle between herself, Ozo and Nengi. The 24-year-old star was seen to have had a beautiful friendship with Ozo at the beginning of the show, which she may have perceived as an intending romantic relationship, while Ozo in turn had his eyes, heart, and head wrapped around Nengi.

Ozo clearly stated that he enjoyed the kind of friendship he shared with Dorathy, however, that he is attracted to Nengi as he is intrigued and fascinated by light skin ladies. It was obvious that Ozo was very fine being just friends with Dorathy, but this seemed not to have settled in fine with the beautiful entrepreneur who was seen to have wanted more out of the package. When Ozo finally declared his love interest in Nengi, his friendship with Dorathy, the friendship he enjoyed with Dorathy began to hit the rocks.

More so, after some days and weeks down the show, the reality star was also seen to be in what seemed like a love triangle between herself, Wathoni, and Brighto. Maybe if both had stayed longer, then we could have had a clearer picture. Dorathy never won the Head of House challenge during her stay in the house but she was a one-time deputy Head of House DHOH to Ozo.

Eviction

A week before making it to the top five, she was nominated by her fellow housemate for possible eviction during the live Sunday eviction show today. During that Monday nomination show, Big Brother decided to change the rules of the game by dividing the remaining of the Housemates into two groups having them nominate two Housemates from the opponent groups and vice versa. However, this twist did not favour her so it seems as she was nominated alongside Ozo, Trikytee and Laycon. Ozo and Trikytee were eliminated which ensured she booked a place in the finals.

Before reaching the top five, Dorathy has been put up for eviction more than three times, and each time she survives Ebuka and his crew, viewers started seeing her as a strong contender for the grand prize
