Danny Strong is an actor, writer, and filmmaker. If you haven’t seen him in any film, it is normal because while he has more credits as an actor, his most prominent works come as a writer and creator of the series “Empire” on Fox. He was to be in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” but somehow, his role didn’t make the final cut. Here is everything you need to know about the star.
Danny Strong – age and early life
Danny Strong was born Daniel William Strong in June 1974. He attended Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, California where he grew up. It was in this city, while he worked at a video rental that he met Quentin Tarantino who would later become an A-list director and filmmaker. At that time, Tarantino was just a clerk but already has a massive love and knowledge of the film industry and would talk to the boy Danny for up to an hour at a time, opening the boy’s eyes to many movies he would never have dreamed knowing how much more seeing left on his own.
It is believed that the acquaintance or friendship with Quentin helped push Danny Strong towards a career in the film industry. Danny went on to attend the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where he studied film and theatre. Danny Strong is a Jew of Lithuanian, Russian, and Polish heritage. He is 45 years old.

While Danny has nearly five times acting credits than he has written, his major success as an entertainer is as a writer. It is believed that his first writing came because he was a small bit player in the industry and wanted to play a lead role so he decided to write the film himself and he wrote the film; the film was never made but the writer in him has smelled blood and he wouldn’t look back. As a writer, he wrote about public figures such as Sarah Palin the running mate for John McCain in the 2008 presidential elections and co-created and co-wrote popular shows such as “Empire” on Fox. Strong has had numerous nominations and awards including two Primetime Emmy Awards.
Danny Strong has produced a handful of films including 65 episodes of “Empire” and episodes of “Proven Innocence” in 2019 on Fox. Strong had his directorial debut in an episode of “Empire” in 2015. In all, he directed three episodes in the next one year. “Rebel in the Eye” the biographical film about J.D Salinger the author is his other credit and so far the only one in the film aspect.
Danny Strong – relationship and net worth
Danny is not a married man. He is, however, not unattached. He is in a relationship with Caitlin Mehner an actress who is also a producer for which she is known for “The Blacklist” and “Rebel in the Rye” all from 2013. It is as the producer of the latter film that she met Danny Strong. The couple dated for three years before getting engaged in December 2016 in Hawaii. We haven’t heard anything about this couple. We presume they are still on course.
Danny Strong is not a tall man; he stands at 5 feet 2 inches (1.57 m) in height which means Kevin Hart is taller than he is which should tell you all about his height. But Mr. Strong is a rich man. His net worth is put at five million dollars which is rather on the smaller side seeing that he has had big credits as an acting and a bigger career as a writer.
