The movie follows the exploits of He-Man as he fights to defend his planet from extraterrestrial forces. Field played the role of Teela, a fighter on the side of He-Man.

After this movie, Field hit a momentum which saw her feature in as many as 20 movies and TV shows up until 1994, including the movie “Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man” in which she played a supporting role of Virginia Slim in the action bikers film.

Chelsea Field is married to Scott Bakula the actor and filmmaker. He is also a singer and has had big successes on Broadway and Off-Broadway plays. He is most known roles are as Captain Jonathan Archer in the series “Star Trek: Enterprise” on UPN between 2001 and 2005 and as the lead role  Dwayne “King” Cassius Pride in “NCIS: New Orleans” on CBS which he also produces. Bakula is a Golden Globe Award winner.

Scott has been married before Chelsea. He was married to Krista Neumann between 1981 and 1995. They have two children. Scott got married to Chelsea in 2009 but he admitted that they have been together since around the time he divorced Krista. This second marriage produced two kids named Wil and Owen.
