1. Caroline Rhea was born in Quebec
Caroline Rhea was born on April 13, 1964, in Westmount, Quebec, a French-speaking province in Canada. Her father’s name is David Rhea and he is an obstetrician and gynecologist while her mother’s name is Margery Rhea. Her father is an obstetrician and gynecologist what you would call OBGYN.
Ms. Rhea has two sisters named Cynthia and Celia. It was a house of 3 C’s and growing up with her sisters, perhaps she enjoyed an all-girls world better, her parents sent her to an all-girls private school named The Study located in Westmount.
2. She relocated to New York to pursue a career in comedy
Caroline moved to New York (where dreams are made of) to pursue a career in comedy in 1986. She had no family in New York but she was convinced within herself that moving to New York will bolster her chances of making it in comedy. While waiting for an opportunity to showcase her talent in comedy nights, she worked as a waitress in a restaurant in New York to pay her bills until her opportunity came.
Caroline ended up performing at various venues like and The Comic Strip and Catch a Rising Star. She made her appearance in One Night Stand which is a one-hour special for HBO. Before she left New York to try another entertainment genre, she shared the same stage with comedians like Louis C.K., Dave Attell, Jim Gaffigan, Marc Maron, and legendary Chris Rock.
She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actress. Her first screen debut was on NBC’s television series “Pride & Joy”. Her fame expanded after she appeared on the ABC show called “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”.
Her voice role in the Disney show “Phineas and Ferb” made her popular, especially among kids. She also hosted the daytime talk show “The Caroline Rhea Show”. She has starred in many films and TV shows.
In 2019, she started portraying the role of Judy, the grandmother in comedy television series “Sydney to the Max”
3. Caroline Rhea is not married
Caroline Rhea is not married and no, she is not a lesbian. In fact, some reports say she went to college in Halifax because she was pursuing a cute hockey player who attended school there. So her sexual orientation is fully straight.
Caroline has dated but unfortunately, she couldn’t decide if it was a nice idea to spend eternity with any of them. She once dated Bob Kelty from 1999 to 2003. The duo were celebrity couple at a time as they attended many social events together but eventually, they broke up due to certain issues. This relationship produced a child named Ava Rhea Economopoulos born in October 2008. The relationship between Caroline and Costaki is now a joke, with the only thing making them keep in touch to be their daughter. 4. She once appeared in a special edition of Who wants to be a millionaire
Who wants to be a millionaire, Big Brother, sometimes celebrities appear in the special edition of this shows for the fun of or either to raise money for a charity project. In 2001, Caroline won $125,000 for charity playing Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
5. Caroline Rhea studied at two reputable Universities
One University was not enough for Caroline Rhea so she studied at two reputable universities. Caroline went to Dalhousie University in her native country Canada. The university has campuses located in Halifax and Truro and Caroline chose the campus in Halifax because she was crushing on a hockey player. No one knew what happened between that hockey player and Caroline but since he was not in the list of men she has dated in the past, it could be one of those teenage fantasies.
Perhaps realizing she didn’t acquire much education in Dalhousie, Caroline enrolled in the University of Arizona to get a proper degree. We don’t have any information about the courses she studied in both Universities.
