Carla Gallo was born on June 24, 1975, in Brooklyn, New York. Her father’s name is Samuel Eugene Gallo while her mother’s name is Mildred Josephine (Coiro). Carla loves living a private life so her parent’s occupation has not been made public. There are no records that she has siblings while growing up. The actress was raised in a good neighborhood in Brooklyn and her parents gave her the best education. Carla was enrolled at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School.

Later, she schooled at Cornell University and graduated with a degree in Theater. After her graduation, she started chasing her childhood dream – an acting career. Although she became popular after her debut film, the role did not come on a platter of gold.

She played the role Toni Peck in the film “Spanking the Monkey”. The film was a huge commercial success and Carla Gallo was nominated in the Independent Spirit Awards for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female.

This boosted her confidence seeing that her first TV role was followed with an award nomination. Carla then starred in the television series “Undeclared” where she played the character of Lizzie Exley for three years.
