Brie Larson

If Time Magazine names you as one of the most influential people on earth, if you have an Oscar award, if you also have a Golden Globe award, if you are beautiful with blonde hair with at least twenty million dollars in your account then your name must be Brie Larson and writing about you should be fun.

Age and early life

Brie Larson was born in October 1989. She was born as Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers in Sacramento, California. Her father named Heather Desaulniers is a French Canadian and together with her mom, Sylvain Desaulniers, the couple has two daughters of which Brie is the first – her sister is named Milaine.

Brie Larson was largely homeschooled for which she admitted gave her the impetus to explore abstracts. She began interested in acting and after she passed their audition, she was admitted, at age six, into the American Conservatory Theater and she became the youngest to ever get admitted.

When she was aged seven, her parents divorced and she was traumatized even though she was never close to her father and she kept trying and which may make it more painful, the finality that the divorce dealt her efforts to know her father better, to build a relationship with her. Her mother moved to Los Angeles with her two kids in order to be closer to Hollywood and help her Brie achieve her dream of being a movie star. They were broke and lived in “a crappy one-room apartment where the bed came out of the wall” in Burback.

Brie Larson is 30 yeara old.

Scott Pilgrim and other career endeavors

According to IMDb, Brie Larson is a part of 63 acting credits as of January 2020. Her most popular movie is “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” from 2010. She played the role of Emily Webb, a precocious young girl and a rock star in the film directed by Nicholas Martin. The film bombed in the box office where it made 13 million dollars short of its 60 million dollars budget.

The film had mixed reviews including one by Hollywood Reporter who declared the film “all so juvenile”. There were also complaints that the film was predominantly white. But for all its shortcomings, the performance of Brie Larson was outstanding, a show-stealing outstanding. Her Scott Pilgrim song did not only stand out of the best musical and singular act by one person in a film in the last decade. Here’s the link, go have a watch.

Brie Larson will later point to her performance in this film as one of her major turning points for her career. Her other famous, arguably the most famous act, is her role in “Room” a 2015 film that was adapted from the novel of the same title by Emma Donoghue. In this movie, she played the role of Ma, a young woman who is held in captivity and abused and who bears and raises a son in her chains. To portray this character, she changed her diet, stayed off the sun, and exercised vigorously and lose weight.

Brie’s other acts include “21 Jump Street (2012)”, “Short Term 12” (2013), “Don Jon” (2013), “The Spectacular Now” (2013), “Trainwreck” (2015), “Kong: Skull Island” (2017), “Captain Marvel” (2019), “Avengers: Endgame” (2019), etc.

“They have taken a step back from their engagement for the time being but they remain close,” a source told People Magazine. It is now more than a year and we haven’t heard anything about them – nor about Brie Larson moving on. As far as we know, and we know a lot (even if we have to say so ourselves) Brie is still single.

Brie is relatively tall, far taller than the average woman in Hollywood, taller than touch and ruthless Jason Statham; she is 5 feet 8½ inches (or 1.74 m) tall. She is worth 20 million dollars.
