After high school, Blair launched a career first in the arena as a stuntman. He first worked as a stuntman for Black Knight Stunts, an Atlanta-based stunt team, he also worked for several summers in Georgia’s Renaissance Festival performing and doing stunts until he was discovered by a talent scout in Atlanta which necessitated a move to Los Angeles where mouthwatering opportunities welcomed him in the movie world.
His debut appearance was in the role of Scotty Grainger on the soap opera “The Young and the Restless” in July 2005, which he left in February 2006. He soon grabbed the Latino character Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald in the soap opera “Passions”. The series follows the lives, loves and various romantic and paranormal adventures of the residents of Harmony. NBC cancelled the in January 2007, and the series was subsequently picked up by DirecTV, but DirecTV, however, failed to renew its contract for the show.
Blair Redford also starred as Nash Rambler in Gregg Bishop’s horror-comedy film “Dance of the Dead”. Blair Redford starred in The CW drama pilot “Betwixt”, which wasn’t picked up to series, and also appeared in the third season of The CW’s “90210” as a recurring character named Oscar.
He played James, a Bumper Band member in the film “Burlesque” alongside Cher and Christina Aguilera. In 2011, Blair appeared in five episodes of ABC Family’s “Switched at Birth” as Tyler “Ty” Mendoza, then left the show to start filming for ABC Family’s “The Lying Game”. He was in the series for two seasons before it was cancelled by the network.
