Eric Andre was born on April 4 1983 in Boca Raton, Florida to a psychiatrist father and an Ashkenazi Jewish mother from the Upper West Side of New York City. He belongs to a mixed ethnic background of Ashkenazi Jewish and Afro-Haitian. There is no so much information about his upbringing.

Eric Andre graduated from Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2001.
