Dozens of movies and TV shows have followed and her roles in the CBS crime drama “Hack” (2021) the teen comedy series “On My Block” on Netflix (2018), and in “S.W.A.T” are the ones she is most known by the younger generation of viewers.

Her biggest show was in 2014 when “Black Jesus” the comedy on Adult Swim hit the airwaves. The show which revolves around Jesus Christ living in modern-day Compton, California, on a mission to spread love and kindness throughout the neighborhood ran for three seasons of 31 episodes all of which Angela E. Gibbs featured in.
