She obtained a degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz and wanted to follow her father’s footsteps of becoming a scientist. Ally Walker became interested in the show business after spending a semester at the Richmond College of Arts in London. However, her acting journey did not begin immediately, there were few stops here and there until a producer spotted her in a restaurant in Los Angeles and offered her a role in the film “Aloha Summer”, her scene did not make it to the final cut of the movie. Ally Walker lives life as a doctor –at least in films. She appeared as Doctor Samantha Waters, a forensic psychologist working for the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force on the NBC crime drama series “Profiler” from 1996 to 1999. However, she was later replaced by Jamie Luner during the show’s final season. The series earned her a Saturn Award nomination for Best Actress on Television in 1998, and a Satellite Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama.
