Ally Maki is an actress and singer known for her roles in ABC’s 10 Things I Hate About You, TBS’ Wrecked, and Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger. Here are all the facts you need to know about the star.

Ally Maki – age

Ally Maki was born Allyson Matsumura on December 29, 1986, in Kirkland, Washington to a Japanese-American family. She grew up in Washington. But when she was aged 14, the family moved to Los Angeles. Shortly after her arrival, Ally became involved in show business. She sings and dances and plays the piano, and it was on the back of this that she was signed to The Valli Girls band as the keyboardist on  Columbia and SONY Records. There is no record of original songs the group made and as to when they went their separate ways.

We do not know much about her formal education but we know that she trained in the art of acting at Ivana Chubbuck Studios, Lesly Kahn & Co., and Margie Haber School in Los Angeles.

Ally Maki started her career in 2002 when she appeared in one episode of “My Wife and Kids” the sitcom on ABC. In the following year, she had her movie debut in the obscured/short movies “80’s Movies” and “Rogues”. In all, Maki has up to double-digit figures in her films. But she is most known for her act on TV. In 2009, she was in “10 Things I Hate About You” the sitcom on ABC Family which ran for two ten-episode seasons. She played the role of Dawn in sixteen episodes.

In 2016, she became part of the series “Wrecked” on TBS which followed the life of a group of people who were stranded on an island after their plane crashed. The series was made up of three seasons of ten episodes each. Ally Maki played the role of Jess Kato in all the 30 episodes of the show up to 2018.

In 2018, she became a recurring part of the superhero series “Cloak & Dagger” on Freeform. She plays the role of Mina Hess: An environmental engineer at Roxxon Gulf who befriends Tandy in the show that revolves around two superpowerful characters Cloak played by Olivia Holt and Dagger by Aubrey Joseph who became romantically connected. She has played eight episodes in the show so far.

Other TV series she has appeared in include the medical drama “ER” on NBC and “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS – appearing in just one episode each.

Ally’s relationship status is clearer now. But it has not always been so. There was a time she was linked to Colton Haynes the singer, model, and actor known for his role as Jackson Whittemore in the MTV supernatural drama series Teen Wolf and as Roy Harper/Arsenal in the CW superhero television series Arrow. The rumor raged for so long as long as both kept been close. But it turned out that they were just friends – good friend, nothing else.

Ally Maki is in a relationship with the pop singer Travis Atreo. Born in Seattle, Washington like his woman although they never met in DC; they met in Los Angeles where they fell in love. Atreo is must known for making the covers of popular songs which he uploads on his Youtube page. He has his original songs but his cover has made more views and money.

Atreo and Ally became engaged in 2019 on the day “Toy Story 4” the animated film was premiered. Ally had played the voice of Giggle McDimples in the show, but it was no play when after the premiere, back to their hotel room, Atreo went down on one knee (or two, who knows?) and asked her to marry him. The two had begun dating around 2013. There is no mention of marriage from the two love birds so far.
